A very early first edition by The Sun Engraving Co Ltd for private circulation only, and therefore undated, but understood to have been printed in 1938. Hardcover and dust jacket both in good condition, but with usual wear from use.

A rare and specularly well written account of the author’s cousin’s racing achievements in the late 1930’s. Birabongse Bhanudej raced for his cousin’s White Mouse Racing team and the book covers mainly the 1937 and 1938 seasons during which, despite having purchased a Grand Prix Delage and employed Lofty England as race engineer, they often resorted to their older and by now inferior, ERAs. Bira also drove a Maserati 8CM at a number of events.
